Back In The Classroom? Fun Ways to Review With Students!

Now that many of us are getting back into the classroom or many of us have already been, I am sure you are looking for fun and interactive ways to review with your students! Time to get those kiddos back into it! And what better way to get them learning in class than with some fun review games!

Here are some of my favorite ways to review with students in the classroom! These activities are not only fun, they are engaging and your students will beg you to play them time and time again!

  1. Avalanche:
    • This is a game that can be played at any time! All you need is the Game Board, Whiteboard with Projector or Smartboard, Dry Erase Markers and Erasers. This is a great way to review verb conjugations and tenses in French.
  2. BRAVO (BINGO):
    • This is a game that can be played at any time! All you need is the printed game board and different colored writing utensils for students. This is a great way to review vocabulary in French.
  3. Chair Game:
    • This is a game that can be played at any time! All you need is the Game Board, 4 Chairs Labeled, Whiteboard with projector or Smartboard, markers and erasers. This is a great way to review vocabulary, verb conjugations or even writing sentences in French. The students will beg you to play this again and again!!!
  4. Roll 6:
    • This is a game that can be played at any time! All you need is the printed game board, and one writing utensil and dice per team. This is a great way to review verb conjugations and tenses in French.

I always love to review with these games in my classroom. You can find all of these games in my French Games Bundle! Or if you just need one or two, they are for sale individually on my TpT Store.

*All activities and resources are available in TpT Digital Activity PDF Format to help better meet the needs of you and your students!

Looking for a quick and easy way to review at the end of each class period? Another resource that I would use is my Billet de Sortir. (Did I mention this resource is FREE!) The Billet de Sortir was a quick way for me to check for student understanding and comprehension each day.

This is a great resource to review new material, see what students took away from that day’s lesson, bring up material from past lessons, etc. We all can use a resource that helps us better understand our students’ learning and needs!

As always, I hope that you have found this information useful and helpful to you!

Merci,

Amanda
