It is that time of year when our students big and small are excited about Halloween!
Whether they admit it or not, we know they love to do cultural and holiday activities in our classes.
The best part about being a foreign language teacher is that we get to do ALL that fun stuff! Why? Because it is CULTURE! (I love that we always get to do so much more with our students due to the cultural aspects of learning another language 😍)
Here are some activities that I use with my students around Halloween to have fun! It is also a great way for students to review or learn vocabulary, adjectives and grammar.
The activities are:
Mon Animal De Fantaisie
This is a great activity that can be used on Halloween or throughout the year for students to review the verb avoir, body parts, numbers, colors and adjectives. It is a fun and creative way to get students using their French!
La Sorcière.
This is a great activity that can be used on Halloween to have students practice their French while being creative! Students are to draw a picture of a witch using the French description provided. Joyeux Halloween!!
These are a great way to still have students be productive on a crazy class day due to all their excitement for Halloween!
